 TASC 96 Girls Green
The 96G TASC Green were undefeated champions of the Norcross Nike Cup held in Atlanta on Dec 5th and 6th 2009. In freezing cold temperatures the girls played teams from Georgia and Alabama scoring 11 goals while holding the other teams scoreless in over 4 hours of soccer. Well done girls, what a great way to end the Fall season.

 TASC U12 Girls White
The U12 Girls White were champions of the U12 Green Division at the GYS Challenge Clash held in Greensboro on November 21st and 22nd. The girls went 2-1 in their first 3 matches, defeating teams from MYSA and Triangle United. In the championship match, they defeated a tough Chatham Soccer League team by a score of 3-2. Great way to end the season!

 TASC 96 Girls Green
The 96 Girls Green were champions of the top classic division at the Riverside Summer Shootout held in Asheville on August 29th and 30th. In their first experience playing 11v11 the girls went unscored upon in group play while scoring 11 goals from 7 different players on teams from Charlotte, Greensboro and Hickory. They then won a hard fought championship game on Sunday afternoon to complete a 4 game sweep of the weekend. Well done girls on a great opening weekend and congrats on a wonderful display of possession/team soccer.

 TASC 96 Girls Green
The 96 Girls Green were champions of the Gold division at the Sandhills Adidas Summer Starter tournament held in Southern Pines on May 16/17th. The girls outscored 3 divisional opponents 14-2 (including teams from Charlotte and Raleigh) to qualify them for the championship game. In the championship, the girls completed a 4-0 weekend sweep with a great team performance in beating a very solid and competitive Sandhills Celtic team. Congrats to the girls on a successful end to the year on the
8v8 modified field before their move to 11 a side soccer next season.

 TASC U11 Boys White
The U11 Boys White team (98's) were finalists in the U11 division at the 2009 TASC Beat the Heat tournament held in Winston Salem on April 25th and 26th. TASC played teams from Tennessee, Virginia and Raleigh, NC. The team went to the Sunday championship game as a wild card where they faced another CASL team. The boys worked hard, giving every effort in the championship game on Sunday -- their 3rd game of the day. Congratulations on a great accomplishment!

 TASC 95 Boys Green
The 95 Boys Green were champions of the U13B Green division at the TASC Beat the Heat tournament held in Winston Salem on April 25th and 26th. TASC secured victories over teams from Tennessee and Raleigh (CASL) to qualify for the Sunday championship game where they faced another team from CASL. The boys put in a very solid and well organized team performance to come out victors by a score of 2-0 and complete a 4 win sweep of the division. Great weekend of team soccer guys!

 TASC 95 Boys Green
The 95 Boys Green were champions of the top Red division in the FCCA First Strike tournament held in Charlotte the weekend of April 18th and 19th, 2009. The boys demonstrated great team play as they finished first in their division with a 2-0-1 record which qualified them for the Championship game against a strong GUFC (Greensboro) team. In the final TASC came out in inspired form, scoring 4 goals in the opening 12 minutes to pave the way for a 7-0 victory. It was a fantastic team performance with every player contributing and playing their part. Great job guys!

 TASC 94 Girls Green
The 94 Girls Green were champions of the Navy division in the Matthews Invitational held the weekend of Feb 14th and 15th, 2009. The girls advanced to the finals on PK's against a strong MUFC Navy team. In the finals, they defeated SCSA Blue by a score of 2-0. Overall, it was a great tournament for the girls against 1st Division Classic teams. They showed balanced scoring and great team defense. Congrats girls! (Nichole Bedsaul is absent from the picture because she was enroute to the hospital).

 TASC 90 Boys Green
The 90 Boys Green were finalists of the Navy division in the Matthews Invitational held the weekend of Feb 14th and 15th, 2009. The boys finished first in Flight B and qualified for the finals by defeating a tough MUFC White team by a 1-0 score. Playing 1/2 of the finals game without their injured goalkeeper, they fell to MUFC Navy, who went unscored upon during the tournament. Great Start Guys!

 TASC 96 Girls Green
The 96 Girls Green were finalists of the U12 Blue division at the Gaston Icebreaker Cup held 1/31-2/1 in Gastonia. Playing with their starting central defender watching from the bench due to injury, the girls showed great spirit and determination in going 2-0-1 in group play to qualify for the championship game. The team was unlucky in the final, falling 2-1 to a very strong 1st division Weddington Black Blitz team. Congrats girls on a fine pre-season performance.

 TASC U14 Boys White
The U14 TASC Boys White were champions of the Blue division in the Adidas Challenge Clash tournament held the weekend of Nov 22nd and 23rd, 2008. The boys finished first in a 5-team division, defeating the CASL Lightning, CASL Celtic and Piney Green Wrath en route to the championship. Throughout the tournament, the boys showed tremendous heart, at times playing with only 10 players due to injuries and cramps. Great Effort Guys!

 TASC 95 Boys Green
The 95 TASC Green Boys were champions of the Blue division in the Lake Norman soccer club Fall classic tournament held the weekend of Nov 15th and 16th 2008. The boys finished first in pool play by outscoring opponents 9-1 before advancing to the championship game by beating Lake Norman Black in the semi final. In the championship the boys came out 3-1 winners against a strong West Virginia 95 Rowdies team. Congrats ... What a great way to end the Fall season.

 TASC 90 Girls Green
The 90 Girls Green were finalists of the U17/18 Premier Division in the Charlotte Cup held November 15-16 in Rock Hill, SC. The team played extremely well, defeating solid teams from Georgia and South Carolina and advancing to the finals by scoring with 12 seconds left in the semi-final match. Throughout the tournament the team played with skill, heart and smiles! Well done!

On the weekend of Nov 8th and 9th 2008 our 96 TASC Green Girls won their bracket in the CASL shootout Elite Copa division by defeating the Peachtree City lazers (GA) 2-0 and the CASL Spartan Premier Black (NC) by a score of 1-0. In the division semi-finals the girls played a hard fought game against SOCA Express (VA) winning by a score of 2-1 before falling in the championship game to a strong Bethesda SC Eintracht (MD) team. Well done girls on a great weekend.

 TASC 90 Girls Green
The 90 Girls Green were finalists of the U18G White division of the Charleston Select Shootout held in Charleston, SC on October 11-12, 2008. In the semi-finals, they defeated an outstanding team from South Carolina 2-0. In the championship match, they were up 2-1 at the half against the HCSA Avalance team, but eventually lost 4-2. The girls played with tremendous heart throughout the final. Great effort and good luck in your remaining Fall tournaments.

The 92 Girls Green were champions of the U16G White division of the Furniture City Classic tournament held in High Point, NC on August 23-24, 2008. En route to the championship match, they tied 93 TCYSA Gold 0-0, defeated the 92 GRYSA Cyclones 2-1, and defeated the 92 BRSA Salem Sabres 3-0. They won the title match 2-1 over the HCSA Avalanche Blue, who had outscored opponents 24-2 to reach the finals. Congratulations on a great start to the season!

Our 95B TASC Green in their first experience at playing 11v11 soccer finished as finalist in the U13 Blue division of the Twin City Classic tournament held in Winston-Salem on August 16th and 17th. The boys had victories against the Jamestown Jammers Gold and ICRD Bulldogs only falling to a fine FCCA Gauchos team for the championship medal. Well done boys on a great opening to the season.

The 94 Girls Green were finalists in the U14 Blue Classic Division of the Twin City Classic Tournament held in Winston-Salem on August 16th and 17th. They scored 12 goals in their first 3 matches to reach the championship game. In the finals, they fell behind 2-0 early to the Sandhills Lady Celtic, but scored just before the half to pull within 1 goal. The two teams went scoreless in the second half, although both teams had many opportunities. Great start to the new season!

TASC 94 Girls Green
The 94 Girls Green were finalists in the U13 Classic Division of the Bluegrass Invitational Tournament held in Lexington, KY on May 10th and 11th. They reached the championship game by outscoring opponents from Ohio and Kentucky by a combined score of 8-1. In the finals, they fell to a Cincinnati based team by a score of 2-1. The girls showed tremendous heart by playing both games on Sunday in a driving rain and hail storm with high winds. Congrats on a great ending to your season!

The 95 TASC Green Boys won their third consecutive tournament championship by beating 1st division TUSA Silver 5-2 in the semi finals of the First Strike Invitational, held April 19-20 in Concord, NC. TASC then secured a 1-0 victory in the championship game against a very competitive FCCA Red team. Way to go boys! |

The U10 Boys White were co-champions in the Jack Frost Challenge Soccer Tournament, held February 16 and 17, 2008 in Archdale, NC. The boys went 4 and 1 with one shutout. Congratulations to the boys on a well-deserved championship. |

TASC 94 Girls Green
The 94 Girls Green went undefeated in the Kernersville Warm-Up held February 2nd/3rd in Kernersville, NC. They defeated both teams in a limited U13 girls division by a combined score of 6-1. Great effort.
 The 94 Girls Green won the championship in the Red Division of the Carolina Fall Challenge Tournament held November 10th/11th 2007 in Concord, NC. They didn't allow a single goal in 4 matches, defeating CVYSA 94 Blast Blue 1-0, Triangle United 94 Silver 2-0, and Triangle FC 94 White 2-0 in the first 3 matches. In the finals, they were once again matched against the speedy CVYSA team, but prevailed by a 1-0 score. Fantastic Effort!

They went 2-0-1 in their first 3 matches and outscored opponents from Triangle United, Cape Fear and FCCA by a combined score of 12-3. In the championship match, they defeated Triangle FC 95 Navy 5-3. Congrats!

The TASC U12 Girls Gold took 2nd place in the U12 G White Division of the 2007 Beat the Heat Tournament held May 5th-6th in Winston-Salem. They finished second to the U12 GUS Storm, but ahead of teams from West Virginia, FCCA Cabarrus and the GUS Revolution. Great Effort Girls!

The TASC U10 Girls White were finalists in the U10 G A Division of the 2007 Galaxy Shootout in held April 28-29th in Hickory, NC. Way to Go Girls!
 Based upon a solid team effort, the U12 G White won the championship of the Jack Frost tournament in Archdale, NC on February, 17-18, 2007. With some outstanding defensive and goalkeeper performances, they allowed 1 goal in 4 matches. Six different girls contributed to the scoring.
In the semi-finals on Sunday, the team played to a scoreless tie against a talented TFC Clash side, but advanced to the finals based on points by outscoring opponents 6-1 in Saturday’s matches. They won a tight finals match 2-0 against the GRYSA Tornadoes, who had not been scored upon during their first 3 tournament games. Great Team Effort Girls! |
